Beyond the Number

More plates isn't the whole story.

When comparing water ionizers, it's easy to assume that more plates automatically mean better performance. But the number of plates is only part of the story — what matters is how those plates are designed.

Every Tyent water ionizer uses Solid/Mesh Hybrid plate technology, combining the strength of a solid plate with the increased surface area of a mesh design. What each stage actually does

Per Tyent's own filtration specifications, the two stages aren't redundant — each targets a different category of what's in tap water:

  • Mineral stage: Rich in healthy minerals that help dissolve nutrients, speed up metabolism, and provide excellent heat conductivity.

The Engineering Difference

Why dual-cell matters.

In a single-cell system, one electrolysis chamber does two jobs at once: it shifts pH and it generates hydrogen, using the same set of plates and the same reaction. That works, but it means the two outputs are locked together — push for a higher pH and hydrogen output shifts along with it, whether or not that's what you actually wanted.

Tyent's dual-cell hybrid design splits that job in two. Water passes through a primary electrolytic cell first, then continues through a dedicated Hydrogen Booster Cell downstream, generating high-concentration hydrogen alkaline water in real time.
